Mikhail Gelfand is a russian biologist, geneticist, bioinformatics specialist, Doctor of Science in Biology, professor of Faculty of Bioengineering and Bioinformatics, Moscow State University, deputy director of the Institute for Information Transmission Problems of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
